4 I have no wrath.
Who would ever give Me (A)briars and thorns in the battle?
I would step on them, (B)I would burn them [a]completely.
5 Or let him [b](C)rely on My strong defense,
Let him make peace with Me,
Let him (D)make peace with Me.”
6 [c]In the days to come Jacob (E)will take root,
Israel will (F)blossom and bud,
And they will fill the [d]whole world with (G)produce.
